PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal projector which includes, as a single device, a video sound reproducing section, a video projecting section, and sound output sections, can play back a medium with video sound data recorded thereon, without time and effort for connection, and attains wide range of projecting positions of a screen. SOLUTION: The liquid crystal projector includes: hinge mechanisms for rotating a projector housing, each of which is disposed in the middle of a face between the projector housing and each of two support plates sandwiching the projector housing accommodating the video sound reproducing section and the image projecting section; two sound output section; and two loudspeaker housings accommodating the sound output sections, which are disposed at positions across the projector housing.
