An electronic control unit for a vehicle is provided to prevent the electronic unit from erroneously operating and being damaged when a signal ground of the electronic control unit is opened. An electronic control unit(100) includes a switching unit(101), a charge pump IC(102), and a micro-computer(103). The switching unit switches a battery voltage applied to a motor(110). The charge pump IC drives the switching unit. The micro-computer controls the operation of the charge pump IC. The electronic control unit includes a by-pass unit. The by-pass unit operates by a transient voltage generated by the opening of a signal GND to by-pass a signal, which is generated from the charge pump IC to the switching unit, to power GND. |
