An ashtray for compressing and extinguishing light of a cigarette is provided to intercept the light of a cigarette and to compress and extinguish the light of the cigarette easily to prevent user's fingers from being burnt. A soft and short rubber pipe that is an insertion portion of light of a cigarette is formed on the inner surface of a cover of an ashtray for compressing and extinguishing light of a cigarette. The light of the cigarette is inserted into the short pipe insertion portion, and both sides of the rubber pipe are pushed by user's fingers to compress and extinguish the light of the cigarette. The cover of the ashtray for compressing and extinguishing light of a cigarette is turned over at 180 degrees to be opened. |
