The disk brake has a brake disk (4), a brake pad (5,6) which can be brought in contact with the brake disk using operating device (2,3), to decelerate the vehicle. A magnetic element (9,10) is arranged to fix the position of the brake pad relative to the brake disk. The magnetic is a permanent magnet or an electromagnet. The operating device is a piston. An independent claim is also included for a vehicle with a disk brake.
