<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wind power generating system by which the revolution speed of a wind turbine is controlled within an operating range, and the wind turbine is continuously operated, even if a wind speed changes suddenly. <P>SOLUTION: The wind power generating system includes a generator connected to the shaft of the wind turbine, and a converter connected to the generator. When the revolution speed of the wind turbine is within a predetermined region, power output from the generator is controlled so that the power may follow a command for the output of the generator supplied to the converter from the wind turbine, while when the revolution speed of the wind turbine is out of the predetermined region, the power output from the generator is controlled so that the power may not follow the command for the output of the generator supplied to the converter from the wind turbine. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
