<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a current sensor capable of detecting amount of the current with a high versatility regardless of value of the current flowing on the detection current path. <P>SOLUTION: Let the current flow in a direction shown by a reverse printed arrow mark on the current path IS1 on the detection current path IS1, the 1st magnetic vector activating in a direction of the vector MV1a, MV1b etc. is generated. In the direction perpendicular to the 1st magnetic vector i.e. in the direction of the vector BV1, the 2nd magnetic vector is applied using e.g. bias magnet. In the case the resultant vector of the 1st magnetic vector and the 2nd magnetic vector changes its angle according to the change of current flowing on the detection current path IS1. The current sensor detects the current on the detection current path IS1 by detecting the angle change of the resultant vector as the change of the resistance value of the magnetoresistive element. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
