<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a separator for a fuel cell which is improved in corrosion resistance in a high temperature atmosphere and improved in durability, and a solid oxide fuel cell. <P>SOLUTION: The separator for the fuel cell 8 has circulation grooves 14, 15 for reaction gas inside, and is constructed of metal plates 11-13 as mother materials. Metallic protective films which are superior in corrosion resistance are formed on both sides of each metal plate 11-13, and at least the one-end side of the metallic protective film is applied with cladding. As the metallic protective film, an Ni coating is formed on the outermost surface of the fuel electrode layer side of each metal plate 11-13 and an Ag coating is formed on the outermost surface of the air electrode layer side. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
