<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the new uses of dicaffeoylquinic acid, dicaffeoylquinic acid derivatives, tricaffeoylquinic acid and tricaffeoylquinic acid derivatives, and to combine the substances with other materials to expand the utilization ranges of the substances. <P>SOLUTION: This oral composition comprises at least one raw material selected from the group consisting of dicaffeoylquinic acid, dicaffeoylquinic acid derivatives, tricaffeoylquinic acid, and tricaffeoylquinic acid derivatives, and a raw material containing a sugar metabolism-promoting ingredient or sugar digestive absorption-controlling ingredient. The composition has an excellent blood glucose level rise-controlling action, namely an antidiabetic action, and further an antiobestic action.
