<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a trichogenous agent capable of promoting hair growth so as to grow the black hair again on a thin part of the head hair or a bald part of the hair and to provide a method for producing the trichogenous agent. <P>SOLUTION: The trichogenous agent has an alcohol extract containing ingredients of Biota orientalis (L.)
