<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coloring nozzle capable of surely jetting droplets of a certain amount of coloring material at a time toward a desired position of an outside surface of an article. <P>SOLUTION: This nozzle 31 is adapted to jet droplets of a certain amount of coloring material at a time toward the outside surface 3a of a wire 3 as the article to color the wire 3. The coloring nozzle 31 is equipped with a nozzle 54 for jetting the droplets of the coloring material, a nozzle cover 55 and a cleaning part 64. The nozzle cover 55 covers at least a tip 37b of the nozzle 54. The cleaning part 64 is equipped with a cleaning liquid supply part 65 and a cleaning liquid discharge part 66. The cleaning liquid supply part 65 supplies a cleaning liquid into the nozzle cover 55.
