<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a channel selection control device for preventing broadcast contents being outputted from being changed suddenly. <P>SOLUTION: When it is decided in program decision processing that a program is changed (S14)(S14: YES), it is retrieved on the basis of EPG (electronic program) information whether or not there are any broadcast stations broadcasting the same program (S18). When it is decided that there is a broadcast station broadcasting the same program in the processing (S18) (S18: YES), a processing for switching to a broadcast station with different key station which broadcasts the same program is executed (S20). Thus, even when a broadcast service area is shifted, the same broadcast contents are output without being bound by the key station, so it is possible to prevent the broadcast contents being output from being changed suddenly and to prevent passengers of a vehicle from feeling uncomfortable. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
