<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive brushless DC motor drive device capable of stable operation even if an excessive resonance occurs in bus-bar voltage due to a pulsating bus-bar voltage. <P>SOLUTION: This brushless DC motor drive device includes a position detector 21 for detecting the rotational position of a rotor in a brushless DC motor 15 from an induced voltage or the motor current of the brushless DC motor 15, a position detection and operation device 22 for performing commutation according to position data of the brushless DC motor 15 detected by the position detector 21, a voltage detector 24 for detecting a bus-bar voltage value; a controller 26 for controlling a duty of the brushless DC motor 15 based on the voltage detected by the voltage detector 24, and a resonance detector 25 for detecting a resonance of a bus bar voltage. When the resonance detector 25 detects a resonance of a bus-bar voltage, the controller 26 maintains a duty applied to the brushless DC motor 15 so as to be constant. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
