<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molecular photovoltaic technology, a manufacturing method, and goods derived therefrom. <P>SOLUTION: A photovoltaic battery comprises an absorbing material capable of absorbing electromagnetic radiation; a first substrate including a first conductive surface, a second substrate including a second conductive surface in opposition to the first conductive surface of the first substrate and facing the first conductive surface; an electron transporter electrically conductive to the second conductive surface of the second substrate, however, electrically insulated from the first substrate; and a positive hole transporter electrically conductive to the first conductive surface of the first substrate, however, electrically insulated from the second substrate, wherein the positive hole transporter and/or the electron transporter is chemically bonded to an electrically insulated sheath and the positive hole transporter and/or the electron transporter is chemically bonded to the absorbing material. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
