<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cable with a terminal facilitating inspection at connection work or at the completion. <P>SOLUTION: This cable is machined according to a installation place and provided with the connecting terminal 14, in advance. An IC tag 18 recording status information indicating an installation status at the installation place is mounted at an arbitrary part of the cable. In the IC tag 18, for example, for a wire harness of a complicated structure, the status information where and how each of connecting terminals 14 is connected is recorded. The information recorded in the IC tag may be related to information recorded in another IC tag mounted on the connection part of the installation part side.
