<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power window device which enables window glass to continuously carry out closing operation by intention even at the time of pinching foreign matter on the ground of crime prevention etc. <P>SOLUTION: According to the operation of the power window device, during the closing operation of the window glass WG, based on a control of a semiconductor switching element Ry in response to a closing command signal based on predetermined operation of a changeover switch, if the foreign matter including the arm or the hand is pinched by the window glass WG, a load current value flowing to a motor M is rendered abnormal, and therefore determination of pinching is made, to thereby invert the motor M. Thus the window glass WG carries out opening operation, and the foreign matter AS is prevented from being damaged. In addition to a pinching preventive function as mentioned above, if the power window device receives a non-permission signal for non-permitting inversion, inversion control at the time of pinching is terminated, and therefore the window glass WG continuously carries out the closing operation even in case of the pinching. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
