<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic document editing apparatus, that can allow a plurality of users to edit one document without previously regulating a specific edit unit, a method and a program for editing an electronic document and a storage medium. <P>SOLUTION: The electronic document editing apparatus 100 is provided with a database 101 for storing document data in which a tag is set and management information for the document and an independent tag setting part 104 for setting not only analyzed tag information but also independent tag information in the document data read by a document reading part 102. When an independent tag is set in the document data 401, an edit area specification part 107 specifies an edit area to be edited out of areas in a display part 106 and then a specified area discrimination part 108 discriminates a tag expressing the edit area specified by the edit area specification part 107 and stores the tag information in the database 101. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
