PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adhesive film pasting device which can set an adhesive film in a specified pasting position by certainly detecting the edge face of the film, even in a case the pieces of the film pasted to a base tape at a specified interval are colorless and light-transmissive, and also can set even the adhesive films of various sizes in a specified pasting position by flexibly dealing with the films. SOLUTION: This adhesive film pasting device is configured in the following way: the forward end part of the adhesive film 12B can be detected, based on the detected displacement of a specified level of the adhesive film 12B, through a roller contactor 23 of a detection sensor 22 which is displaceable in the thickness direction of the adhesive film 12B, in detecting the adhesive film 12B pasted to the surface of a base tape 12A of a film feeding tape 12. Further, a delivery roller 15 or the like is controlled so as to allow the transfer of the film feeding tape 12 to a specified transfer level until the forward end part of the adhesive film 12B is arranged in a nearby position to a replicated end by a guide member 41, based on a detection signal to be outputted from the detection sensor 12B.
