PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lane keeping assist device capable of effectively suppressing departure of a vehicle from a traffic lane without installing a dedicated device. SOLUTION: The lane keeping assist device body 8 is provided with an input interface 81 utilized for inputting of driving information of the vehicle and a white line signal Sd from a vehicle body side antenna 32; a white line detection instruction production part 82 for producing white line detection instruction Ss based on the driving information; a departure determination part 83 for determining departure from the traffic lane of the vehicle based on the white line signal Sd; an admonition instruction production part 84 for outputting admonition instruction based on the determination result of the departure determination part 83; a steering assist instruction production part 85 for outputting steering assist instruction based on the determination result of the departure determination part 83; and an output interface 86 utilized for outputting of the admonition instruction to an admonition device 7 and steering assist instruction to EPS controller 6.
