PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus where a saved image is easy to search and can be used to a reference image in the state of the saved image. SOLUTION: The apparatus is provided with: an image preparing part 3 for preparing a plurality of different images; and a display part 5 for displaying the plurality of images in a plurality of image display areas. When the number of images is larger than the number of image display areas, the images are sorted into preparation images and images to be saved based on a priority order condition, and a preparation image display area and a saving area are provided in the image display area to display the preparation images in the preparation image display area and to display the saving images obtained by reducing the images to be saved to a prescribed size in the saving area.
