PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spindle motor capable of correctly writing/reading data, such as a magnetic disc device or the like, by reducing the vibration of a hub member that is a rotator, without having to improve the processing accuracy of a rolling bearing. SOLUTION: The spindle motor 10 comprises a bracket 11, a hub member 12 rotating relative to the bracket 11, and a pair of rolling bearings 13, 14 intervened between the bracket and the hub member. The pair of rolling bearings 13, 14 are mutually the same in the diameter, in the revolution orbit diameter of, and in the number of rotating bodies 28, 31, and one of the pair of the rolling bearings 13, 14 is of outer-ring rotation, while the other is of inner-ring rotation.
