PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brush having a boundary surface simply and visually confirmed during an operation and disposed between a low resistance layer and high and intermediate resistance layers located under the low resistance layer. SOLUTION: In the brush comprising a triple-layer structure including the high, intermediate and low resistance layers, a lead wire is connected to the low resistance layer, the high and intermediate resistance layers as a sliding face are disposed under the low resistance layer, and a coating having a different color from the brush is provided in the low resistance layer and/or the high and intermediate resistance layers located under the low resistance layer.
