PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brushless motor capable of preventing the misalignment of a permanent magnet without increasing costs sharply. SOLUTION: In the brushless motor, a rotor comprises a rotor shaft 22, a cylindrical rotor core 23 attached to the rotor shaft 22, and the permanent magnet 24 having a rotor core contact surface 24a in contact with the outer-periphery surface of the rotor core 23. In this case, at least one plane 29 is formed on the outer-periphery surface of the rotor core 23, and a plane misalignment prevention section 30 in contact with the plane 29 is provided on the rotor core contact surface 24a in the permanent magnet 24.
