PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sampling function generating apparatus and digital/analog converter in which frequency characteristics can be adjusted. SOLUTION: There are provided: a B spline function generating circuit 10 for continuously generating a signal with a waveform corresponding to a three-level B spline function; delay circuits 12 and 14 for generating a plurality of signals corresponding to a predetermined delay amount by delaying the signal of the B spline function waveform; amplifiers 16, 17 and 18 for adjusting signal levels of the plurality of signals with predetermined gains; a delay time setting unit 26 for variably setting the delay amount due to the delay circuits 12 and 14; a gain setting unit 28 for setting the gains of the amplifiers 16, 17 and 18 in accordance with the delay amount set by the delay time setting unit 26; and adder circuits 20 and 22 for synthesizing and outputting the plurality of signals outputted through the delay circuits 12 and 14 and the amplifiers 16, 17 and 18 as a sampling function waveform.
