PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an optimum output image for a color/monochrome mixed document specially using a gray background image, etc. by performing processing system which shows the same property even if a job changes between full-color/monochrome. SOLUTION: In a case that an automatic discrimination mode is set by printing mode information, even if monochrome processing and full-color processing is suitably changed for each page in the document with a plurality of pages mixing full-color/monochrome, difference of density property is eliminated when especially the background data are gray scale, the optimum data processing is realizable for data processing, it call effectively realize both image quality and performance.
