PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide electrolytic solution whose initial specific conductivity property is excellent, and whose specific conductivity change rate is small under a high temperature. SOLUTION: Electrolytic solution for an electrolytic capacitor is provided as electrolytic solution (E) which is constituted of electrolyte (C) and organic solvent (D) constituted of anion (A1) of monocarboxylic acid (A) and onium cation (B) shown by a general formula (1), and the pKa of the monocarboxylic acid (A) is 1.8 or less. The electrolytic solution for an electrolytic capacitor is provided as electrolytic solution (H) constituted of electrolyte (G), and organic solvent (D) constituted of anion (F1) of multi-valued carboxylic acid (F) and onium cation (B) shown by the general formula (1) or a general formula (2); and the pKa of the multi-valued carboxylic acid (F) is 1.8 or less.
