PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To be able to identify a device with a plug attached. SOLUTION: The plug identification system includes a plug equipped with a light source and an information indicator. The light source emits transparent light, white light or colored light in a visible spectrum indicating an information about a device with a plug attached to a user. The information indicator may include a translucent, a transparent, and an opaque parts. The information indicator may be colored to give display information about the device with the plug attached. The translucent, transparent, and opaque parts are structured to display icons, logos, initials, names or the like, to give display information about the device with the plug attached.
