PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor having high potential by electrostatic charge, high sensitivity and high durability, and an organic photoconductive compound usable for a sensor material, an EL element and an electrostatic recording element. SOLUTION: One or more of the compounds shown by formula (1) or specific bisstilbene compounds are incorporated as organic photoconductive compounds (charge transport material) into a layer on a conductive support.
