PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a viewing angle control device with which an viewing angle is controlled while setting it to be in various ranges and further an image is completely shielded when seen from the outside of the viewing angle range. SOLUTION: The viewing angle control device includes a first polarizing plate, a first liquid crystal layer, an intervening layer, a second liquid crystal layer and a second polarizing plate, wherein alignment is controlled in a plurality of regions in the respective first and second liquid crystal layers.
