PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing apparatus of an electrophotographic photoreceptor, the apparatus capable of reducing the content of contamination substances derived from a base coating layer and included in a coating liquid for a photosensitive layer by removing the contamination substances while circulating the liquid, and to provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor manufactured by the above apparatus and causing no image defect and contributing to economic efficiency. SOLUTION: The manufacturing apparatus of an electrophotographic photoreceptor functions to apply a coating liquid by an immersion coating method on a conductive substrate 10 in a coating tank 1 while circulating the coating liquid 3 via the coating tank 1 and the coating liquid tank 2. The apparatus is equipped with a liquid cooling device 4 and a filter 5 successively between the coating liquid tank 2 and the coating tank 1. The temperature T1 of the coating liquid after flowing from the coating liquid tank 2 and the temperature T2 of the liquid prior to passing the filter 5 satisfy T1>T2. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
