PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intake manifold for an internal combustion engine which materializes reduction in size and weight while enhancing assembly property of a flame arrestor. SOLUTION: In an intake manifold for an internal combustion engine which includes a flame arrestor 12, the body is split into a plurality of parts by a split plane including a horizontal plane to be composed of at least a base member 2A and a cover member 2B. The flame arrestor 12 is included in the base member 2A through an opening and sandwiched between the base member 2A and the cover member 2B connected to the base member to be fixed thereto. In the concrete, a fitting recess is provided inside of an assembly flange 3 formed at one end of a length direction of the base member 2A. While the flame arrestor 12 is fitted in the fitting recess to be included therein, the flame arrestor 12 is pressed by a press part 2c formed at one end of the length direction of the cover member 2B to be fixed thereto.
