PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steel frame which is assembled easily at a construction site and is delivered to the construction site efficiently. SOLUTION: A flat plate-like assembly part piece 5 is provided to protrude from a longitudinal end edge of an upper horizontal frame member 1. The assembly part piece 5 is inserted, from the side of an inside face of a vertical frame member 2, into an assembly hole 8 formed in an inside piece 4 of the vertical frame member 2 on which the end edge of the horizontal frame member 1 abuts. An arc-shaped elastic joint piece 6 is forcibly inserted to be assembled, along the longitudinal direction of the vertical frame 2, into a through hole 7 formed in the assembly part piece 5 protruding from the assembly hole 8. Both ends of the joint piece 6 are brought into contact with the outer surface of the inside piece 4 under pressure, and the middle part of the joint piece 6 is brought into contact with the edge part 7a of the through hole 7 under pressure.
