PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a plate making operation before printing more efficient by providing a plate bending device adaptable to various printed matters and rotary presses with different plate mounting shapes. SOLUTION: The plate bending device comprises a template for one side of a press plate fixedly provided on a pedestal for a plate bending device body, a plate bending mechanism for one side of the press plate, which has a press plate bending member movable with respect to the template, and a moving platen vertically movable with respect to the pedestal for the plate bending device body are installed; and a template for the other side of the press plate, and plate bending mechanism for the other side of the plate, movable with respect to the template on the moving platen.
