<p>A shaped body comprising an adsorption agent in and/or on an at least partially amorphous inorganic support structure is such that (A) the support is of or includes glass; (B) the amorphous fraction of the support makes up 25-60 wt.% of the total weight of the shaped body; and (C) the shaped body contains channels. An independent claim is also included for production of the body by (1) mixing the adsorption agent, a support -yielding material characterized as per (a) and (b) above, plasticizer, liquid phase and optionally other additives; (2) forming the mixture to give a channel structure; (3) heating the body to at least the melting temperature of the support material; and (4) cooling so as to form an amorphous support structure.</p> |
