PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for evaluating lubricity of a lubricant for hot-forging, which is close to an actual forging form and has high reproducibily. SOLUTION: The method for evaluating the lubricity of the lubricant for hot-forging, employing the forging form of backward pushing-out method, includes: a process in which after heating a die with a workpiece incorporated therein at a temperature higher than the forging temperature by a heating device, this die is set in a pressing apparatus; and a process in which at the point of time when the die with the workpiece incorporated therein set in the pressing apparatus is gradually cooled to reach the forging temperature, the forging work is started by using a punch via the lubricant interposed on the contact surface of the punch set so as to be freely vertically advanced/retreated at the upper part of the workpiece and the above workpiece, and the lubricity of the lubricant is evaluated by measuring a pressing load at the time of forging work.
