<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of increasing the number of programs to be registered as various image forming apparatuses capable of setting the functions of a copying machine, a digital copying machine, a facsimile device, a scanner device and a compound copying machine and other functions. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus is equipped with a storage means for storing the set content of a plurality of functions set by a user as a program, and a function setting means for setting the functions by accessing the program stored by the storage means. The program is stored in the storage means by using either a detailed registering mode in which the detailed set content of the function is stored in the program or an easy registering mode in which the set content comprising storage capacity having fewer limited functions than the set content of the detailed registering mode is stored in the program, whereby the number of programs to be registered is increased by reducing storage capacity per a program in the easy registering mode. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
