<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor drive system which can maximize the efficiency of the whole system from a generator to a motor. <P>SOLUTION: The motor drive system records a torque map showing the drive torque of the motor 5 and the relation between the dc voltage and the dc current of an inverter 4 and a generator efficiency map showing the efficiency of the generator 2 and the relation between the dc voltage and the dc current, selects the torque map on the basis of the drive torque of the motor 5, selects the generator efficiency map on the basis of the number of rotations of the generator 2, and drives the motor 5 by obtaining the d-axis current and the q-axis current of the motor so that the total efficiency of the efficiency of the whole system may become the maximum. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
