<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power window driving device capable of compatibly reducing the holding load and preventing improper inversion. <P>SOLUTION: In a predetermined area from the full-open to the full-close of a window glass, the number of holding determination to determine presence/absence of the holding is changed to a specified value B to reduce the holding load than others only when a first level signal is generated in a first predetermined area T1 from the start mask completion time to mask the holding determination to the start time completion time continuous thereto, and in a second predetermined area T2 before a dead zone area in a vicinity of the full-close position of the window glass. The holding in the predetermined area can be determined correctly while reducing the holding load.
