<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve an outer appearance and to surely maintain a closed condition. <P>SOLUTION: A cover 10 of a packaging box for, which closes the top end opening of a box body 2 provided with a peripheral wall 4 lower than the total height of merchandise 1 stored inside on the outer peripheral edge of whose bottom wall 3, is provided with a top wall 11, first side walls 12A, 12B and second side walls 12C, 12D continuous with the outer peripheral edge of the wall 11 and surrounding the peripheral wall 4 of the main body 2, an inclined wall part 17 provided from the upper part of the walls 12A, 12B to the wall 11 so as to be inclined upward and inward, and a hooking shoulder part 18 continuous with each upper part of the adjoining side walls 12A-12D and protruding folded inward.
