<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric cable drive device equipped with an emergency release mechanism capable of releasing manually a brake or the like even when an electric system has failed to operate properly. <P>SOLUTION: The cable drive device 10 is equipped with a motor M, a reducer G connected to an output shaft 25 of the motor, a nut member 26 connected to an output side of the reducer, a rod 32 including a male thread 44 screwed into the nut member 26, a control cable 15 which is connected to the rod 32 and is used for operation, the emergency release mechanism 16 for releasing operational force of the control cable by means of external operation. Besides, the cable drive device 10 is equipped with an engaging claw 52 by which the emergency release mechanism 16 engages with and disengages from a bracket 51 for supporting an end of a conduit pipe 49 of the control cable 15, a spring 52c for energizing the engaging claw 52 constantly toward an engaging position, and a release cable 53 for releasing engagement of the engaging claw 52 by the external operation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
