PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a core substrate sheet for a card which can obtain excellent image quality even when laminated on an image recording body under the atmospheric pressure, adheres firmly to the image recording body when laminated on it, and is excellent in embossing processability.

SOLUTION: In the core substrate sheet having a core substrate containing a polyvinyl chloride resin as a main component and an adhesive layer formed on at least one side of the core substrate, the adhesive layer contains at least a polyester resin and fine particles of 5-35μm in an average particle size.
