PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To optimize automatic stop timing of an engine according to a traveling condition in an engine automatic stop device automatically stopping the engine under a predetermined condition. SOLUTION: The engine automatic stop device automatically stopping the engine under the predetermined condition includes a vehicle speed sensor 37 detecting vehicle speed, a throttle sensor 39 detecting throttle opening, a travel history record part 43a recording travel history of a vehicle, and an engine stop control part 7a automatically stopping the engine according to vehicle speed, throttle opening and travel history.
