PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a digital photographic image having the same effect as that of a photographic image photographed by panning shot, an image processing method, an apparatus and a program for a digital photographic image containing a moving object. SOLUTION: The direction and amount of the movement of a moving object 1 is detected automatically, on the basis of a digital photographic image containing the moving object 1 and a background 2. Blur-adding processing for adding blurs is applied to background image data of the background 2, on the basis of the direction and amount of the movement. Blur-correction processing for correcting the blur is applied to the moving object image data of the moving object 1. The blur-corrected moving object image data subjected to the blur correction processing are added to the blur-added background image data to generate output image data.
