PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermoelectric transducer and a thermoelectric transducing module which have a high transducing efficiency necessary for realizing thermoelectric generation, and are excellent in thermal stability and chemical durability. SOLUTION: The thermoelectric transducer comprises a conductive substrate, a specific p-type thermoelectric transducing material formed on the substrate via a conductive thermal shock absorbing material, and a specific n-type thermoelectric transducing material formed on the substrate via the conductive thermal shock absorbing material. And the conductive thermal shock absorbing material consists of a conductive material having a coefficient of thermal expansion between the thermoelectric transducing material subjected to be bonded and the substrate.
