PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk recording/reproducing device capable of recording and changing information indicating the end position of recording data in a DRAW type medium so that a reproduction-only device reproduces information while maintaining a servo signal. SOLUTION: An information recording/reproducing device carries out close processing to enable reproduction of user data (#1 and #2) by a reproduction-only device when the user data (#1 and #2) are recorded in a DRAW type optical disk capable of performing direct-read-after-write operation of information. This close processing includes recording last recording position information NBM (A1) indicating the end position of the recorded information at the outside of the user data (#2). Subsequently, when the direct-read-after-write operation is applied to user data #3, as close processing, the last recording position information NBM(A1) is deleted by using predetermined pattern data, and new last recording position information NBM(B1) is recorded in a position after the user data #3.
