PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens moving mechanism which prevents a lens barrel from being damaged by an impact from the outside by simple constitution. SOLUTION: The lens moving mechanism is provided with a lens barrel 1 holding a lens and a coil spring 3 for supporting the lens barrel 1 in a direction of an optical axis and moving the lens barrel 1 in the direction of the optical axis. The coil spring 3 is elastically deformed by an impact in the direction of the optical axis, which occurs upon the lens barrel 1 by a drop or the like, to absorb the impact.
