PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve insufficient warming at the lowest warming shelf in a multilevel cooling/warming open showcase. SOLUTION: The open showcase, in which display shelves 7 each having an auxiliary heater in a shelve are arranged at multiple levels in an article storage chamber 6 where cold air circulated in a cold air circuit 3 forms an air curtain over a front opening, and in which a removable partition plate 8 for partitioning the article storage chamber 6 horizontally is disposed to suction the cold air in the cold air circuit 3 into a duct 12 and blow the cold air from a tip outlet 13, has an auxiliary heater in the partition plate 8 to thereby heat space over the partition plate 8. The auxiliary heater of the partition plate 8 heats air about the warming shelf 7 just above to compensate insufficient heating at the lowest warming shelf 7 due to the positioning of the partition plate just below.
