PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing apparatus which has a low cost and is simply operated for sealing a book, a magazine and the like (unhealthy books or the like) to make them hard to see at a store. SOLUTION: This sealing apparatus for magazine, book and the like is equipped with an adhesive tape feeding out mechanism, and a sealing means. The adhesive tape feeding out mechanism feeds out only a fixed amount of an adhesive tape for sealing a book, a magazine or the like. The sealing means cuts the adhesive tape by a cutter, makes the adhesive tape adhere to the book, the magazine or the like, and uniformly pastes and seals a space between the front cover and the rear cover of the book, the magazine or the like into a U shape.
