PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seed disinfector for immersing seeds such as seed rice in hot water to sterilize and disinfect saprophytes adhered to the seeds, which can effectively disinfect a large amount of the seeds in a short time. SOLUTION: This seed disinfector is characterized by comprising hot bath tanks 2 for storing hot water, cold bath tanks 3 for storing cold water, line routes disposed on treating lines L on whose each line the bath tanks 2, 3 are arranged in the order of from the hot bath tank 2 to the cold tank 3 in a row, connection routes for connecting both the ends of the line rail portion 7, and a plurality of carriers 11 formed in a state capable of being circularly moved along the line routes and the connection routes, wherein each carrier 11 liftably or lowerably hangs a basket-like container 20 for receiving the seeds to sequentially immerse the container in the bath tanks 2, 3, when moved along the line route.
