The screw clamp has a slide rail, a fixed clamp arm, and a moveable clamp arm. The lower end of the moveable arm has a mechanism with a holder (1') of wood, plastic, etc. It also has an actuating lever (1) with a bore or seat at one end, containing a shaft (3), which is turned to move the piston. The shaft also extends into an aperture in the clamping piston (6) and has a lever (2) moving on the first lever and a shaft (5) in an aperture in the lower part of the moveable tension arm. The first lever has hollow spaces to allow for alignment of the shafts (3,4,5) for movement of the piston to the left.
