<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved injection molded plastic roller pinch clamp. <P>SOLUTION: This improved injection molded plastic roller pinch clamp for intravenous drip sets includes a housing 50 having side walls 57, a bottom wall 60. a top walls 52, 51, a flow control region, a roller wheel, and plastic tubing which is pinched between the roller wheel and the bottom wall. The ratios of the thickness of the top walls 52, 51 to the left side wall 58 and the right side wall 57 are set to an extent so that the cavity is quickly filled by molten plastic upon injection molding and the total weight is smaller than a conventional housing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
